No, it's not because your legs are too long! You just haven't figured out yet how to efficiently fold forward without losing your alignment. This is the perfect class for you to learn to consciously use your muscles to fold forward, lift back to chaturanga, float (and pause) from downdog to uttanasana, jump through to dandasana, etc.

About Yenny Christine
Yenny Christine, a certified E-RYT 200 yoga teacher, has a well-rounded practice; she is known for her flexibility, especially in backbends. She was not born flexible but developed her own techniques through practice and observing others.
Yenny's been doing yoga since 2003 and teaching since 2006. She is often invited to teach workshops in Indonesia and around the world. She is trusted as a guest teacher in yoga teacher trainings, besides also performing for yoga events. Yenny is the owner of Prana Yoga Studio in her hometown, Bandung, founded in 2008.
In Organic Life Kuala Lumpur 2018, she will share her expertise in backbends throughout her classes "Backbend without Pain" and "High-tech Backbend Transitions". They might sound scary but - don't worry - her classes are very safe. All you have to do is just come with an empty glass.
